Harvest Festival services in October 2018

With the weather this year, harvest may seem a distant memory by the time we get to Harvest Festival services. Harvest happened early and it's not been an easy year for the farming community. Yet it is good to stop in the busyness of life to give thanks to God for all he does give us - so often we take it all for granted. So these services are times of thanksgiving and joy, but we also pray for our farmers and all who bring us our food.

We do receive harvest gifts of tinned and packet food - these go to the Marlene Reid Centre in Coalville for distribution to local familes in need.

Come along and enjoy these special times - and you'll see there is food on offer as well!
