FOOD BANK COLLECTION IN HOLY ROOD CHURCH

ASHBY FOODBANK LOGO.png

At the back of Holy Rood Church is a collection point for food to go to Ashby Foodbank. The church is open during the day, so feel free to go in and leave items in the box at the back of church.

  Needed right now are:

  • Tinned Fruit (400gms)
  • Tinned Sponge Puddings
  • Tinned Meat Pies
  • UHT Milk (1 litre)
  • Breakfast Cereals

They have plenty of beans and sugar.

A typical food parcel would include three days of nutritionally balanced, non-perishable food. It would look something like this:

  • Breakfast cereals
  • Soup
  • Pasta
  • Rice
  • Pasta sauce
  • Tinned beans
  • Tinned meat
  • Tinned vegetables
  • Tinned fruit
  • Tea or coffee
  • Sugar
  • Biscuits
  • Snacks

Can you help?
