Carols at the Bull and Lion

Carols at the Bull and Lion

At 3pm on 19th December, it was raining - really raining. What would happen to our carol singing? But by 7pm, it had cleared and we had a wondeful evening.

The Salvation Army played with vim and vigour as we went through the whole repertoire of carols. Loads of carollers arrived and we sang well.

Here are some photos to give an idea.

After we'd sung our best, there was mulled wine and mince pies. Many thanks to the Bull and Lion for hosting this event and for donating the mulled wine.

Thanks especially to the Salvation Army band from Burton. We made  a collection for their work which totalled the amzing sum of £472.33!!
