Carol singing at Normanton

It had been a very miserable day on Tuesday 13th December, but by 7 p.m. the moon was shining and it was dry and warm. So we were able to be outside after all and sing to our hearts' content.

There were traditional carols interspersed with a rendering of Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer and the 12 days of Christmas. We were then resuscitated with mulled wine, mince pies, sausage rolls and other goodies. Many thanks to those who came and to those who brought toys to go to children who might otherwise not receive any.
