The light of Christ is coming into the world

December 3rd

Mary and Joseph and their donkey had an exciting start to their jurney today. They came along to Cameron's christening in Holy Rood Church. They were able to watch all that went on and have gone to Cameron's home for the first night of their journey aorund Packington. i wonder what will happen as Cameron's dad wasn't too sure how the donkey and his dog would get on!

December 4th

Mary and Joseph and the donkey travelled onwards. Here they are being toasted and enjoying a warming supper.

December 5th



Lyla has had a lovely evening looking after Mary and Joseph tonight. She has enjoyed looking after them on her first christmas




December 6th

A very different day for Mary and Joseph as they found themselves on a farm! They went to check on the sheep, and the ducks.



I wonder what the sheep and ducks made of them?

December 9th

Mary and Joseph went to the Christmas party for the children of Ready Steady Stick. They had a chance to watch the story of the nativity in church acted out by the chidlren and took part in the craft activities





December 10th

And then Mary and Joseph encountered snow!




December 11th

It was good to be tucked up in the warm for the night.

December 16th

Mary and Joseph spent a few hours with us


December 21st

soon after they arrived and settling in, then waiting for train at conkers the following morning, from Jake and Joanna


December 22nd


 The wise men had a preview.

And then the donkey fell into the box of presents!



December 24th

And on Christmas Eve, Mary and Joseph made it safely to the stable - joining in the crib service.
