A Grand Night for Singing: October 7th - How it went

A Grand Night for Singing: October 7th

It was a grand night for singing! The Packington Memorial Hall was full and there was a real buzz. No doubting everyone was cheered by the wonderful singing, the variety of the programme presented by the Nottingham Bluecoat Singers. The choir inlcudes our very own Nia.

Here they are lining up ready to go:

As well as the singing there was so much food. Look at the spread:

And those who prepared it:

£753 was raised through this event for Holy Trinity's sound system! A big thank you to all who worked so hard and came, but especially to Nia who organised it for us.

One happy concertgoer said: "what a super evening on Saturday, the choir was superb with great arrangements of songs . You must have worked very hard to achieve the numbers and ensuring the choir would come. Again very many thanks, and for sure whatever figure was achieved on the night will go a very long way to getting the hearing loop for the church.
Please pass on our thanks to all the lovely ladies who were responsible for the super food."
