Annual meeting matters

Annual meeting matters.

The mention of ‘annual meetings’ can cause an expression of boredom to appear on many faces, but they are important events in the life of any organization. The church is no different. The annual meetings are on:

  • March 28th at 7.30pm at Normanton Church in church
  • April 24th at 7.30pm for Packington Church but venue to be announced

All are welcome – put the date in your diary.

Important for this month is that the electoral roll is completely renewed this year so everyone has to apply afresh to go on. Forms are available at both churches,or from Joycelyn Mugglestone (Normanton) or Jane Hall (Packington). Being on the Electoral Roll has several important benefits: on an official level, it gives you the right to vote at our Annual Meeting and therefore a voice in shaping our priorities and enables you to support the ministries of our church.

However, more importantly, says that you see our churches as your spiritual home and we are encouraged by you being alongside us in the work of our church. Whether you are a longstanding member or a newcomer it is always a pleasure and privilege to see you and worship alongside you whenever that might be.

So do join up if you feel that is right for you.
