Packington Open Gardens

August Bank Holiday Monday was very very hot! Up to 32'C at some times. Yet some 500 peple were still drawn to Packington Village to tour 12 open gardens. Here is a sample of what they saw:

As well as visiting the gardens, there was much drinking of tea and eating of cakes.  A big thank you to our organisers, to all who opened their gardens., to all who baked and served teas, and to all who stewarded. The united effort meant that £3800 was raised for Holy Rood Church which means we can go forward on to the next stage of repairs to this ancient building.
