Forest Church meeting: Wednesday March 31st at 3pm

We’re back! Come and join us on March 31st at 3pm in St Laurence churchyard, Measham. Our theme will be ‘Journeys’. How has yours been this year?

We will be making journey sticks. ‘What are journey sticks you ask?’. The stick will represent your journey the stick represents your journey. We’ll find sticks for ourselves in the churchyard and then gather things to add to the stick that represent something of your journey. You might like to bring something small from home to add to your stick. So plenty of scavenging to be done.

Together we will be praying and having fun so, come along and share time with us.

Bring some warm clothes, and wear good footwear, it’s still March so we don’t know what the weather will be like.

Remember you will have to stay in your ‘bubbles’ and you might like to bring something to eat and drink as we aren’t at this time allowed to serve refreshments.

   Be great to see you.

So what is Forest Church?

It is outdoors, which sometimes means we will be blessed with lovely weather and sometimes we will need our coats and welly boots!

It’s an opportunity to be with others, to get in touch with nature and the rhythm of creation through the seasons.

It’s about living well with our planet.

It’s not about singing hymns, or lengthy sermons it’s about letting the world around us speak to us and taking time to listen.

It’s for Individuals and families, for safety children must always be accompanied by an adult

Each time there will be activities to join with for the young and young at heart, as we connect with creation in a different way.

If your children like forest school, then they will love this too.

We will always share a drink and biscuit or snack.

Last about an hour
