Packington Open Gardens’ Bank Holiday Monday 31st August 2026 1pm-6pm
Be sure not to miss this splendid and ever popular event to which you will be welcomed by our church bells at the beginning of the afternoon. Ten gardens will be open together with a History Group display in Holy Rood Church and a display by local Country Colours Art Group in the Memorial Hall. In one of the gardens our very talented village Community Choir will have a “slot” during the afternoon to entertain you. Cream teas, refreshments and ice-creams will be on sale and there will be stalls, and an “I-Spy” trail for children - all followed by the Village Duck Race in Mill Street – for which tickets will be on sale from 5.00pm. Races begin at 6.00pm.
Passports: £5 per adult, accompanied children free, available from Measham Road Car Park, the Church, the Memorial Hall or participating gardens. Garden entry proceeds go to the upkeep of the historic village church; duck race proceeds go to charity.
