Welcome to our website

It's new and there is still much to do but enjoy browsing!

Holy Rood Church, Packington  serves the rural communities of Packington and New Packington to the south of Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

We aim to be a welcoming church fellowship for everyone, whether regular members or occasional visitors.

Holy Rood is an attractive and historic building. It is open during the day and you are welcome to visit, to look round or just to sit quietly, rest and reflect.

It is somewhere to explore together the love and joy of God and what it means to go through life in the company of Jesus Christ.

Holy Trinity Church, Normanton-le-Heath stands in the middle of the small rural village of Normanton-le-Heath. The population of the village is some 200 people.

It is important to us to be there for the community, which is a mixture of all ages and many different occupations.

We are a relaxed and friendly church fellowship; sociable and adaptable as we explore together what it means to be beloved of Christ and to share that love with others in word and deed.

Recent events in the life of the church include: pet service, parachuting teddies, nativity in a barn, knitting nativity figures, learning how to make chutney and flavoured gin.

Holy Rood and Holy Trinity Churches are part of the team of eight churches
working together as the Woodfield Team of churches to serve the communities
in this part of North-West Leicestershire.

Services and Activities are open to all.
